Just in time for the holidays, the much anticipated Lakeside Skating Center in Prospect Park features both an outdoor and covered rink and café on 26 acres of parkland. Kudos to the Prospect Park Alliance, who raised $19 million in private donations toward the cost of the $74 million skating center, which will operate year-round, with roller skating in warm weather. Only a three-minute walk from the Parkside Station on the B and Q lines, the rink is open seven days a week.
