Improv Everywhere welcomed over 4,000 people from all over New York City to drop their pants and take the subway in their skivvies on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 12). Celebrating its 13th year in existence, sure, the annual prank has lost some of the surprise factor. But after taking the subway with the brave individuals who were willing to go pant-less in the 40-something-degree weather, it was obvious that the the charm it had in 2002 is still there. With lots of giggles and smartphone flashes, the live performance piece that founder Charlie Todd envisioned was realized through the subways of New York and culminated in Union Square for a celebration of showing off legs and wacky undies.
