Wings at 1849 (183 Bleecker Street, 212-505-3200), 25 cents
Assuming you can find a seat, you’ll be able to supplement Sunday football with a screamin’ wings deal.
We’re probably going to regret divulging this one — 1849 gets packed for game days as it is, and we’re often among the hordes fighting for prime seating on plush stools and couches. But since the AFC and NFC championships happen Sunday — with nary a New York team in the race — we’ll give up our favorite wing deal in the city. From noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays and all day on Mondays, this Greenwich Village bar offers 25 cent wings (up, mind you, from 10 cents just a couple of seasons ago). Crisp and juicy and slathered in hot sauce, we order them by the dozen and eat until we’re ready to pass out. You’ll want to get there well before kick-off to take part, though — otherwise, you’ll likely have to stand.
