Where to Eat Brunch This Weekend

Looking to start off February with a bountiful brunch? Check out our line-up of this week’s best spots — including a DIY bloody mary bar.

Lincoln Park Bar and Grill, 867 Ninth Avenue, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.

For $20, receive endless bloodies, mimosas, or screwdrivers along with an entree at this Hell’s Kitchen hideaway. Expect to find pancakes, a breakfast burrito, and even pizza on the classic menu. The relaxed vibe and multiple televisions also make this a great place to post up if you find yourself getting sucked in to watching the game on Sunday.

La Boulangerie Lopez, 647 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m.

If you’re an early riser, enjoy freshly baked bread and Mexican pastries at this mini-brunch hideaway. Look for tamales and empanadas, too — you’ll be hard-pressed to part with much cash.

DIY bloody mary and champagne
Lexington Brass, 517 Lexington Avenue, Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.

Craft a bloody mary from a DIY bar using ingredients like oysters and prosciutto (the drinks start at $9 and some accoutrements cost extra), and then pair your concoction to beer waffles, a cheeseburger with truffle fries, or a benedict royale with caviar. For fans of the bubbly, there’s also a champagne kit that serves two for $50 complete with mixers like peach puree and pomegranate juice.

Midnight Brunch
Red Rooster, 310 Lenox Avenue, Friday and Saturday, midnight

Beginning this weekend, Marcus Samuelsson’s Harlem dining room will offer a midnight brunch with a live DJ performance. Choose from hot wings, short ribs skewers, and ramen. Specialty cocktails including punch and pitchers of the mint vodka-based drink yes, chef round out the beverage options.
