Less than two months remain before our annual Choice Eats event hits Basketball City (299 South Street), bringing with it an epic line-up of food from restaurants all over the five boroughs. If you haven’t purchased your entrance yet, jump on it: We’re sold out of VIP fares, and our general admission tickets are going quickly. If you need more incentive, we have it — we’re announcing 21 more restaurants that will serve the floor, and we’ve also firmed up our musical act.
We’ve already told you that you’ll be able to taste dishes from Bear, Bhatti Indian Grill, Bobwhite Lunch and Supper Counter, Brooklyn Kolache Co., Butter & Scotch, Coppelia, Devi, Dirt Candy, Fletcher’s Brooklyn Barbecue, Indian Clove, Jimmy’s No. 43, Kaia Wine Bar, Louro, Luke’s Lobster, Mables Smokehouse, Maima’s Liberian Bistro, No. 7, Oda House, Ovelia Psistaria, Pete Zaaz, Queens Comfort, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Robicelli’s, The Kati Roll Company, The Meatball Shop, and Xe May Sandwich Shop.
Now, we add 21 more restaurants to the list:
Ample Hills Creamery
Edi and the Wolf
Fay Da Bakery
John Brown Smokehouse
OddFellows Ice Cream Co.
Tabata Noodle Restaurant
In addition, we’re proud to announce that we’ve confirmed Brooklyn indie-rockers DIIV will DJ this year’s event; the widely lauded band has appeared on Letterman as well as at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza.
The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, and your $60 general admission ticket gets you access to unlimited food and drink. Check our Choice Eats website for more information.
