Grouplove’s Favorite Covers of All Time and Songs They’d Like a Crack at

Grouplove’s 2011 debut may have been named Never Trust a Happy Song, but there’s nothing to not trust or love about their upbeat, dancey sound. According to lead singer and guitarist Christian Zucconi, the sound happened by pure chance as their tastes collided. Given their organic, bright energy, It’s no wonder fans voted on the Beach Boys’ “Don’t Worry Baby” over tracks like Nine Inch Nails’ “Piggy” for the band to cover in a Spotify contest.

Given their past predilection for doing covers of songs they love, which has included a soft take on our advice columnist Andrew W.K.’s “Party Hard,” and their desire to possibly release a collection of covers in the future, we had Grouplove choose not only the songs they would like to have a go at, but their favorite cover songs of all time.
