The tsunami of French performance overtaking the city this month during DANSE gathers force with the Lyon Opera Ballet. Choreographer Christian Rizzo’s Ni fleurs, Ni Ford-Mustang is a 10-year-old bagatelle from a visual artist whose primary accomplishments are in rock music, fine arts, and fashion. He calls this piece “a continuation of my work on obsessions.” With music by Gerome Nox and lighting by Caty Olive, seven of the Lyon troupe’s dancers transform and are transformed, all in under an hour.
