Can You Name the NYC Bar in Lee Fields’ New Video?

Lee Fields’ new album Emma Jean is a bit of a departure from previous works (but still incredible — duh!). It was mixed and partially recorded at Dan Auerbach’s (Black Keys) Nashville studio, and there’s a bit more of country soul/blues tinge to it, especially on the track Auerbach wrote, “Paralyzed.” It’s out on June 3 via Brooklyn’s Truth & Soul Records, but it’s currently streaming at NPR’s first listen. Fields official record release show for Emma Jean is tomorrow night at Bowery Ballroom, and today he’s released a new video for the track “Just Can’t Win,” which was shot here in New York City. Several of the scenes in the video take place in a famous NYC bar. Take a look at it and see if you can tell which.

Yep. That’s Jimmy’s Corner, aka the only place to drink near Times Square that isn’t completely terrible. In fact, it’s great (has a killer jukebox too). And the only thing missing from the video above is a cameo from Jimmy himself.
