For those who are sticking around the city for the weekend, Brooklyn Museum is
offering a range of activities today for the First Saturdays program. There’s discounted admission to the current exhibit: “Ai Weiwei: According to What?,” then at five Matuto will play live music, a band that blends Afro-Brazilian beats with folk and bluegrass stylings. Afterward, catch a screening of Spike Lee’s 1989, endemically Brooklyn summer classic, Do The Right Thing. An array of live music, comedy, book club discussions, and hands-on art classes continue throughout the night.
