Each year in September, the Village Voice takes over Brooklyn’s Skylight One Hanson (One Hanson Place, Brooklyn) and invites dozens of brewers to pour hundreds of craft beers for crowds of enthusiastic drinkers. It’s always a good party, and it’s an excellent opportunity to taste the exciting work of your local beermakers next to pours from across the globe.
We’re excited to tell you that Brooklyn Pour is back for a fourth year: Consider this an official announcement of the festival’s return — and your invitation to secure your entrance before tickets go on sale to the general public.
This year’s party features three different types of tickets: The $85 VIP fare gets you into the tasting room an hour before the event officially starts plus access to a special lounge, complimentary food, and a gift bag. The $65 Early Entry ticket gets you through the door a half an hour early. All ticket levels, including the $55 General Admission fare, earn you tastes of an unlimited number of beers plus a tasting glass and additional entertainment.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon, but here’s how you can score your admission early: Head on over to the Brooklyn Pour website starting at 10 a.m. today, and enter the code VVBKED. And do it fast: our presale tickets always sell out quickly.
The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. (or 2 to 6 p.m., if you buy a VIP ticket) on Saturday, September 27.
Oh, and we’re also looking for volunteers to help staff this event; see our volunteer application form to apply.
