When asked to play the Princess Bride Drinking Game, one immediately starts guessing (and second- and third-guessing) which goblet has been poisoned with deadly iocane powder. In fact, it’s the latest in a series of classic comedies performed live at Union Hall while the audience drinks (as they wish) whenever a buzzword or phrase is spoken. Plus, whenever someone says a character’s name, the actor playing that character has to drink, too . . . so things could escalate “to the pain” pretty rapidly. (Pity poor Inigo Montoya, whose hangover will be self-inflicted.) Have fun storming the keg! Anybody want a peanut?
