From riding the subway in the violent 1970s, to fending off giant roaches, to battling rats and alligators who took over downtown after Hurricane Sandy, Nightmare NYC’s 2014 haunted attraction uses the city as its inspiration. The haunted attraction features an impressively fabricated subway car, that under the cover of darkness feels right out of the ’70s. It’s at the Clemente, 107 Suffolk Street between Rivington and Delancey, through November 1. Photos by Rob Menzer for the Village Voice.
