The White Dude with a Guitar thing has been going on for a while — like, since the instrument was invented and people had emotions they wanted to sing about. Is it Urban Outfitters? It’s probably all three. That’s why when you have a singer-songwriter like Blake Mills, an artist who actually knows what he’s doing behind six-strings, it’s something of which you should take note. Make it a date night. Just don’t wear a fedora.
