After the NoMad’s Elephant Bar garnered a slew of accolades, owners Will Guidara and Daniel Humm finally opened the NoMad Bar in an attached bi-level space with its own side entrance. Beverage director Leo Robitschek helms the cocktail program here as he does next door, and he keeps a formidable list of quaffs. Equally jaw-dropping is the food, which goes well beyond typical bar snacks. The comprehensive menu includes crisp crudité so photogenic as to sate Instagram addicts, and PDT’s OG bacon-wrapped Humm Dog, which bursts with porky truffle funk. Whatever you do, don’t miss the chicken potpie, baked in a cast-iron pan and served with a skewer of foie gras.
