Until this year, boutique fitness studios have been accessible only to city denizens with deep pockets — each individual class, be it spinning, boot camp, Pilates, or yoga, will set you back at least $20, and some far more than that. Unlimited access, you say? Not unless you can afford the equivalent of about three gym memberships. But in 2014, ClassPass brought high-end workouts to the masses: $99 per month buys you access to dozens of boutique gyms, including name brands like Pure Barre, Flywheel, and City Row. As long as you’re willing to sample multiple forms of exercise, you can take as many classes as you want — you’re limited to three sessions per studio per month, but there’s no cap on the total aggregate number of classes you can attend.
