Best Hair on a Local TV Personality (Female)

by

Don’t mess with the tresses — this anchorwoman has been upping New York’s hair game for over a decade. WABC-TV’s Liz Cho seems to subscribe to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Sarah Michelle Gellar school of coiffiture: Never have the same style, length, or Clairol shade number for more than three television appearances in a row. We’ve seen these locks through a lot, from barrel curls wide enough to hide our uncertainty during the shaky few years after 9-11 to a sleek, defiantly composed flat-iron look during Hurricane Sandy and the subsequent blackouts, as if to say, “I will not be tousled by a little wind, and neither should you, New York.” These days her mop is more often than not understated, straight, and simple as she continues to do that ‘do every afternoon at 4 and 6 p.m. Hours after — no lie! — the Voice deemed Cho’s style the Best, we learned that she’d become engaged to Josh Elliott of NBC Sports, who’s certainly well-groomed (pun intended, no shame) himself. We predict many good days ahead for the tonsorial power-couple.
