LIVE TO TELL THE TALE

Supporting our troops and supporting the arts has never been easier. Two back-to-back performances featuring former service members turned artists will come to the FIT for the Veteran Artist Program’s Veterans Week Showcase. First, literature will take the stage as veteran poets, authors, and essayists present their work in From the Front to the Home Front in Words. Immediately following, seven veterans will take the stage for VAP’s signature, The Telling Project. Here, audience members can hear firsthand stories of military experience as performers explore why they decided to go to war. Featured artists will include dancer Roman Baca, formerly of the U.S. Marines, actor Adrienne Brammer, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and singer BR McDonald, U.S. Army veteran and a founder of the program.
