With galleries a dime a dozen in Soho and on the LES, it’s increasingly hard to distinguish the worthwhile collections. Enter the New Yorker’s ninth annual Passport self-guided gallery tour. The sojourn begins at White Box Art Center, where prospective flâneurs can pick up their maps and custom-made “passports,” to be stamped with a replica of the art at each respective location. Afterward, participants are invited to the wrap party, featuring food and drink curated by Smorgasburg. Pieces by the day’s featured artists will be available through a silent auction.
