DRIVEN BATTY

by

Criminals are a superstitious, cowardly lot…and in Gotham City, the name Batman strikes fear into their hearts. Actors can be just as superstitious — try saying “Macbeth” in a theater — but the names that haunt Jason O’Connell are West, Keaton, Bale, and now Affleck. O’Connell chronicles his love/hate relationship with the Batman movies in The Dork Knight tonight, channeling his obsession into a one-man show peppered with impressions of the various Caped Crusaders and their archenemies. If you’ve never danced with the devil in the pale moonlight, follow the Bat-Signal to a man who knows all the steps.
