Hungry for a festival? This weekend. from Serbia to the Caribbean, there’s no shortage of international treats to choose from. Here are five food-focused activities to consider.

Taste of Serbia Food Festival, Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava, 20 West 26th Street, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.

Enjoy live acoustic Serbian music and dance at this two-day festival, which will supply plenty of Serbian treats. Guests can sample a variety of regional delicacies like sausages, dumplings, goulash, and more, which is free to attend on both dates.

Supporting the efforts of (RED), guests looking to experience Smorgasburg in a different light are welcome to go on an emoji-filled scavenger hunt. Themed props will be provided while participants capture red colored foods on camera as well as the number 86 as part of the hunt. The highest rated photo of the day will be selected over drinks at the Smorgasburg bar at 2:30PM and the winner will receive a prize for their amateur photo skills.

Bankra Basket Caribbean Folk Festival, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, 153-10 Jamaica Avenue, Queens, Sunday, 12 p.m.

A bankra basket is a Jamaican traveling basket occasionally used to display produce, which is why this festival will encompass plenty of foods embodied by the spirit of the Caribbean islands. In addition to numerous food stalls offering plenty of jerk chicken, fresh fruits, and plenty more, traditional folk music and dance performances will take place throughout the afternoon. Egg Rolls & Egg Cream Festival — and Introducing Empanadas, Museum at Eldridge Street, 12 Eldridge Street, Sunday, 12 p.m.

This annual celebration of the Lower East Side’s diverse culture is adding a new food element, as Puerto Rican staples like empanadas join egg rolls and egg creams at this all-day dining affair. Previous activities have included a traditional Chinese tea ceremony as well as the chance to make your own dumpling. Visitors can also expect traditional salsa, klezmer, and Chinese opera to serenade their stroll down Eldridge Street as well as activities like mask making and mah jongg.

Staff Meals Cookbook Sunday Supper, élan, 43 East 20th Street, Sunday, 5:30 PM

On Sunday, chef David Waltuck will host a monthly dinner series based on his cookbook Staff Meals from Chanterelle. Focusing on seasonal dishes, the menu includes items such as curried Vidalia onion fritters, chilled watercress soup, and strawberry cobbler. Reservations are $48 and can be made by contacting the restaurant.
