Chilly temps the day before Valentine’s Day weren’t enough to keep the Cupid’s Undie Runners from taking to the streets in their heart-covered skivvies. Temperatures dipped into the single digits with the wind chill bringing the real-feel outside to arctic levels, but the runners still stripped down to their festive undies and ran just over a mile to raise money for charity.
Cupid’s Undie Run is an fun run event that takes place nationwide on Valentine’s Day weekend — including cities across the U.S. from New York City and Minneapolis to Denver and Los Angeles among others. Proceeds from the run go towards the Children’s Tumor Foundation in effort to fund research about ending Neurofibromatosis in children. Since Cupid’s Undie Run began in 2010, the organization has raised over $3.5 million nationally for research.
