A Taste of Congo

Saturday, 7 p.m.

Enjoy a five-course tasting menu inspired by Congolese cuisine. Chef Grace Odogbili will prepare dishes like wild fish in chili sauce and the national dish of Congo, moambe, a chicken dish cooked in tomato and peanut sauce. Tickets are $65 in advance and include beverages, but you can also BYOB. Reserve your spot here.

Musical Brunch Featuring Song Yi Jeon
National Sawdust (80 North 6 Street, Brooklyn)
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (final seating is at 12:30 p.m.)

Rider offers guests the chance to enjoy avocado toast and lox fries over live music at this new weekly brunch series. This Sunday, South Korean singer and composer Song Yi Jeon perform her own original music. Brunch admission is $10 for adults — children 13 and under are free — and does not include food and drink. 2016 Taste of Jewish Culture Street Fair
Sixth Avenue, between 48th and 49th
Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Black Seed Bagels, Breads Bakery, and Michael Solomonov’s Dizengoff are just a few of the participating restaurants that will offer a modern take on classic Jewish fare at this annual street festival. The event will be hosted by Soren & Jolles (comedy duo Tracy Soren and Jessie Jolles) and features live Klezmer music and dancing throughout the day.
