It’s been said that if you remember the Sixties you weren’t really there. Well, if you’re not trying to forget the Eighties you just weren’t paying attention.

Since the Trump Teens/Twenties are turning out every bit as ugly and greedy as the Reagan Eighties, we’re looking back on the Voice’s massive retrospective package of that mean decade from thirty years ago. Below, cartoonist Mark Alan Stamaty provides a brief history of the Reagan years — the decade that set the tone for today’s waking nightmare. —R.C. Baker
