New Yorkers banded together, channeled their inner Aladdin Sane, and danced the nights away following the news of David Bowie’s death on January 10, 2015. Thousands showed up to Bowie’s SoHo apartment to pay their respects, and in the days after, fans donned glitter and wigs and honored the legendary musician by hitting the dance floor and watching some of his classic films. A handful of folks took to their bikes for the David Bowie Memorial Dance Ride, some danced it out in Greenpoint at Good Room, and others unleashed their inner Jareth after a screening of Labyrinth at House of Yes.
