After a Night of Chaos, Baltimore Residents Clean Up

After a night of chaos, Baltimore residents showed solidarity on Tuesday, April 28, cleaning up debris left by the previous night’s looting and riots, as police there clashed with protesters over the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old man who died while in police custody. Also on Tuesday, President Barack Obama said in a press conference at the White House, “We have some soul-searching to do. This is not new. It’s been going on for decades.”
