It’s just under three months until the sixth annual 4Knots Music Festival, and the Village Voice is thrilled to reveal this year’s lineup.
On Saturday, July 9, join the Voice in slathering on some sunscreen and rocking the day away with new and established artists rounding out a bill filled with indie rock, alt-country, Americana, hip-hop, electronica, and more. How much will it cost you? Nada. That’s right, 4Knots is absolutely free this year, so you’ll be able to rock out with us at the South Street Seaport without breaking the bank.
Without further ado, here’s the 4Knots 2016 lineup:
Indie rockers Guided by Voices and folk popgrass group the Strumbellas will headline 4Knots along with eight other bands for a marathon day of music at the Seaport. Joining our co-headliners at the festival are Protomartyr, Car Seat Headrest, Kirk Knight, Girlpool, Bayonne, Diane Coffee, Promised Land Sound, and Mild High Club.
We’ve whipped up a handy playlist of this year’s artists so that you can get acquainted with them while we’re waiting for the weather to finally warm up.
