Naturally talented and passionate about dance, twin brothers Ayden and Ethan Valdriz have embarked on a journey to become professional dancers. They have won dance competitions together and have appeared at highly respected dance events.
Early Inspiration and Individual Journeys
Ethan Valdriz started dancing in diapers and has a natural-born talent for dance and choreography. He says he learned to dance before he could walk. He aspired to become a dancer from a young age and took lessons as a child. His passion for the art form continues to drive his professional journey.
“I’ve learned that passion cannot be taught it only can be felt. Others notice when passion comes naturally rather than forced,” Ethan says.
Initially, Ayden Valdriz was more interested in playing and sports, but as he watched his brother dance, he fell in love with the art. Inspired by his brother’s passion for dance, he decided to try dance lessons.
“A few months into it, I just knew this was what I wanted to do. The spark that lit inside me was a feeling I had never experienced before but will always carry with me,” Ayden says.
Breakthrough Performances and Public Recognition
The twins started dancing together when they were 8 years old and choreographing when they were 12. They showed off their talent on NBC’s World of Dance, and when they were 14, they appeared on Canada’s Got Talent. Since then, the twins have been on the KAOS show and choreographed pieces for Flip the Switch.
The talented twins have been steadily building their reputation. Recently, the twins participated in the 2025 Monsters Show titled “Rooted” and directed by Amari Marshall, who has worked with major artists. The Monster Show is an annual dance event that highlights emerging talent and features high-level choreography.
Building a Brand Together
Ayden and Ethan were 14 years old when they started their own dance company. They both enjoy training, making connections, and seizing opportunities. Over time, their dancing style has evolved. In the early days, they did ballroom dancing, and today they still incorporate elements of their training into their dance routines. When they perform together, they are perfectly synced.
Challenges and Staying Grounded
The dance industry is extremely competitive, something both brothers are very aware of.
“One of the biggest challenges I’ve had to overcome would have to be staying authentic to myself in an industry full of ego and a strong competitive nature,” Ethan says.
Ayden agrees, saying, “The biggest challenge I had to overcome was the negativity of others. Luckily, my Mom and Dad have been my biggest cheerleaders throughout this tough process. I have always been so happy for everyone’s experiences and opportunities that I was unaware that people can feel the opposite in this industry.”
Both Ayden and Ethan strive to stay humble and be their authentic selves as they navigate through the dance world, working toward their goals of dancing with musical artists on live stages, choreographing for commercial projects, directing shows and performances, and mentoring other dancers.
