Whole Foods Tribeca isn’t the only location with new snack options. Brooklyn Flea is partnering with the chain to launch a new, rotating restaurant at the Whole Foods on Bowery.
Beginning on Monday October 22, food vendors from the Flea’s weekly Williamsburg market will take turns at a space on the café level, working there for the month before handing it over the next team. The restaurant will be called Smorgasburg at Whole Foods Market Bowery.

Cemita’s is up first, with, obviously, their layered cemitas ($8.27) and tacos made with fried chicken, carnitas, or mushrooms ($3.90), among a few other snacks. After that, expect grilled cheese sandwiches from Milk Truck, followed by smoked meats from Mighty Quinn’s.
A Smorgasburg-themed retail shop is also in the works, with plans to open in early 2013.
