The stated goal for the 2015 Dance Parade, held on Saturday, May 16, was to celebrate diversity… and did it ever. Over 10,000 dancers of all ethnic and stylistic varieties gathered at 21st Street and Broadway, shimmied toward the Grandstand at 8th Street and University Place before ending up in Tompkins Square Park for the concluding five-stage DanceFest.(http://danceparade.org).
