Spending your Friday deciding where you’ll kick off the weekend? Same with us. And we’re strongly considering heading to Peels, where we’ll be able to drink cheaply to benefit a good cause.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the restaurant is hosting a benefit for the Tamarindo Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to wellness and development in rural El Salvador. The organization is currently running a bike tour to raise funds, and it’s stopping through New York City today.
But you don’t have to bike, if you don’t want–you can just drink. Head to the second-level bar at Peels, and you’ll be privy to a number of drinks specials, the proceeds from which go directly to supporting the nonprofit.
See? Now you have a feel-good reason to tie one on. You’re welcome.
