Eyal Maoz, a graduate of Israel’s Rimon School of Music, can also count the celebrated ’90s Lemon Juice Quartet as an alma mater. He’s since arranged for the big bands of Phil Watson and Greg Hopkins; his own free-electro improv rock outfit, well footed by nimble bassist Shanir Blumenkranz, is a galvanizing, far-flung experience.
