Freemans 2.0 to Be Called Peels

Not only is Freemans’ younger sibling now hiring, it also has a name: Grub Street reports that it will be called Peels, putting us in mind of citrus and skin-care treatments. Presumably, the latter won’t be on the all-day menu, which will include egg dishes, a “build-a-biscuit” program, soda-fountain drinks, and — surprise! — Stumptown Coffee. Dinner will eventually feature — surprise again! — fried chicken.
