Denise Richards, who turns 54 years old this year, is opening up about her decision to join the subscription platform OnlyFans and how she balances her career and motherhood. The actress, best known for her roles as James Bond bombshell Dr. Christmas Jones in “The World is Not Enough” or in pulp classic “Wild Things”, shares in a trailer for her new reality TV show, “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.”
In the trailer, Richards says: “I’m trying to just balance everything” before detailing all the things she is juggling, including her roles as wife to Aaron Phyphers and mother to her three daughters Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and her adopted daughter Eloise.
“Being a parent in the public eye and in Hollywood is really hard, especially when your mom and dad are Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen,” Richards continues in the trailer that was dropped last week. The former couple who were married for just four years, have had a contentious relationship for years, but recently vowed to bury the hatchet for the sake of their kids. The decision came after their daughter, Sami, launched her OnlyFans account.
It was her success — and not-so-gentle nudging — that led Denise Richards to launch her own OnlyFans account. Now, the mother and daughter are both raking in money each month with hundreds of thousands of subscribers each. This look behind the scenes at their content creation, as well as their “unpredictable family life” will be what is featured in the upcoming “half-hour comedic docuseries” that will star Denise and her family.
But Denise isn’t a stranger to reality tv. She starred in two seasons of the popular Bravo show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. At the time, Vanity Fair described her addition to the cast as: “She might be one of the most famous people to join the Housewives franchise, someone who was a legitimate household name before becoming a reality star. Now, that doesn’t always translate to on-screen gold, but it is a nice little coup for Bravo.”
It may not have been the coup that Vanity Fair thought it would be, but Richards did cause quite a stir in the two seasons she was originally on the show. Richards found herself in a massive feud with Lisa Rinner, fellow actress and cast member — as well as in the middle of an alleged affair with another cast member, Brandi Glanville. Richards denied the allegations and left the show after two season, saying: “When I left after my second season, I just felt as though some of the women were very toxic and they played so dirty. I understand there has to be drama, but I also think it’s fun to see women having fun, especially this age group.”
Richards returned to Housewives in 2023 as a special guest to stir up more drama, but it looks like she’d rather be the star of the show. Which she will be when the new show premieres soon.
