Ever look like a picnic table?
Ever see three other people also wearing red plaid gingham shirts and feel like you’re part of a whole bunch of picnic tables?

That happened to me at a perfume launch the other night when I got a load of the eerily similar ensembles worn by a photographer, restaurant guy Miguel Calvo, and designer John Barlett.
It was all too crazily felicitous — right out of the “Paris Original” number from How to Succeed — so we all got together for a blinding photo op.
I wish Helen Keller could have walked in at that moment and gurgled, “Plaid! My favorite color!”
