New Orleans funk volcano Galactic kicks off a three-night stand with guests Cyril Neville, Rebirth Brass Band trombonist Corey Henry, and Living Colour singer Corey Glover. A Crescent City stew capturing everything from jazz to Indians to bounce, Galactic’s new Ya-Ka-May is Treme for the ears. Some Cat From Japan is local guitarist Scott Metzger’s unorthodox tribute to the music of Jimi Hendrix.
