Indie rock’s second-most-famous harpist (after Joanna Newsom), Pat Grossi of
Active Child says he’s ready to start work on the follow-up to his underground-hit debut, You Are All I See. First, though, the L.A.–based outfit is hitting the road for one final tour in support of that 2011 disc, on which Grossi floats his appealingly androgynous croon over sleek arrangements that remind me of late-period Everything but the Girl; dude should totally cover “Missing” or “Walking Wounded.” Active Child play Mercury Lounge (and Thursday night at the Bowery Ballroom) with witch-house survivor Balam Acab and Superhumanoids.
