Brooklyn’s Royal Palms is usually a shuffleboard club, but Sunday, May 31, 2015, the Taco Takedown took over the space. Contestants were given tortillas which they could fill as traditionally or as creatively as they wanted. During the course of the contest, carne was asada’d, beer was drunk, bellies were filled and winners were declared.
