A Long Island jail guard has been arrested and is accused of having his own “harem of female inmates,” as the Post puts it this morning. Another way of looking at it is that the guy, Mark Barber, was backed against the wall by his dead-end job and unappealing looks and finally decided that this was his only chance of ever having a harem.
Barber’s job at the Nassau County Jail was “female grievance officer.” He is alleged to have extorted the women into having sex after they came to him to complain about sexual harassment.
