There were protests over the Gaza incursion in New York this weekend — a pro-Palestinian one at West 55th Street and Eighth Avenue, at which seven police officers were reported hurt and ten protesters arrested, and a pro-Israeli one near the UN. Meanwhile Joe the Plumber was in Israel, telling the Associated Press that reporters should not be allowed report on the war. “I don’t think journalists should be anywhere allowed war [sic],” said the Pajamas Media embed/buffoon. “I think media should be abolished from, you know, reporting… I think the media should have no business in it.” He also said that “I liked back in World War I and World War II when you’d go to the theater and you’d see your troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and happy for them” “Please, God,” said VetVoice, “let Joe keep representing the voice of conservative American media in war zones around the world.”
