In the 1980s, you’d find Lorraine Lewis rocking out on stage with bands like Femme Fatale and Vixen. But now you can find the 66-year-old in an even more shocking place: the subscription-based platform OnlyFans.
Best known for it’s X-rated content, the platform is being used by more and more celebrities to build on the celebrity they’ve cultivated over the years — or lost decades ago.
The rock icon discussed her decision to join the platform recently on The Chuck Shute Podcast: “I just think it’s a cool platform. It can be whatever you want it to be. I think a lot of people think it’s really just porn. It’s not. It doesn’t have to be. But it’s sexy, I’ll tell you that. Like, I’m hella sexy.”
And her content appears to be sexy as well. Yes, it does feature exclusive music content — but it also features Lewis in lingerie or nothing at all. And hundreds of people are eating up, racing to pay $20 a month for the opportunity to view the content she creates on the platform. (You can also upgrade for even more content, which is likely going to get even racier that what’s available on the regular subscription level.)
Lewis shared that she’s already earning over $10,000 a month on the platform and that it makes sense for her.
“It just makes sense that a girl like me, a rock star like me, would take this to the next level. I’ve always been a rebel. I’m always full of surprises. And this is just another level of, like, doing what I wanna do and living life to the fullest.”
And at 66, she’s doing what she wants for as long as she can.
“If I’m lucky, I’ve got 30 more years on the planet. I can talk about this when I’m sipping tea when I’m 100.”
Her career began in 1987 as the lead singer of rock band Femme Fatale and is known for hits like Waiting for the Big One and Falling In and Out of Love. She made the return to rock in 2019 as the new frontwoman for the female rock band Vixen — but that experience only lasted a few years when the singer was reportedly asked to leave the band last year.
Lewis told Sleaze Roxx, “It was not my decision to leave and I think that’s something that I do want to be clear and known. I was surprised. I thought that we were getting ready to go on tour for the summer, so I was ready to rock n’ roll.”
While she may not be able to rock n’ roll with the band now, she’s still connecting with her fans on OnlyFans. Lewis said: “I have so many fans that have come on and they’re, like, ‘I’ve had a crush on you since I was 15 years old and first saw your video’,” she said.
Like most rock singers, Lewis doesn’t think twice about the criticism she’s receiving for being a 66-year-old content creator on a platform dominated by young men and women, sharing: “I’m owning it. I’m embracing it. I’m in control of whatever I wanna do, and I’m just having so much fun.”
Having fun and making money. Couldn’t get better than that for Lewis.
