Momofuku Milk Bar Is Indeed Going North to the Upper West Side

A month after rumors surfaced that Momofuku Milk Bar would open a location on the Upper West Side, its expansion has been confirmed.

According to New York‘s fall preview guide, the bakery is indeed venturing north with a storefront at 561 Columbus Avenue, at 87th Street. Set to open next month, this fourth Milk Bar location will serve, among other things, a new pork bun that can be ordered with a soft-poached egg. Between this, Magnolia Bakery, Soutine, and Levain, Columbus Avenue may have to be rechristened Hyperglycemia Way.
