NO SHUSHING HERE

For the uninitiated: Mystery Science Theater 3000, the Peabody Award-winning cult hit that aired on cable from 1989 to 1999, concerns a man and his robot sidekicks who are forced to view terrible movies by mad scientists and—to keep sane—make jokes as they watch. Now the original cast is back together again for Cinematic Titanic to do their riffing live on stage. Tonight’s victim is Danger on Tiki Island (aka Brides of Blood), a 1968 film that has virgin sacrifices, man-eating plants and animals, and restless natives on a tropical island. Need we say more?
