NYPD Seek Suspect in Attempted Manhattan Bank Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual pictured, who’s wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery at the Chase Bank at 498 7th Avenue and 37th Street. On Friday, August 13, the man walked into the bank and handed a demand note to the teller, who walked over to the next window and hit the panic alarm. The suspect fled the location.

He’s described as a hispanic male, 35-40 years old, 5’7″-5’9″ tall, medium build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a white short-sleeve crew neck shirt, dark jeans, and dark sneakers, and had a blue bandana tied around his neck. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.
