Police Seeking Attempted Robbery Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying an individual wanted in connection with an attempted robbery.

On Wednesday, April 28, at 2:40 p.m., the suspect, pictured, approached a store window in front of 3202 Mermaid Avenue armed with a firearm and demanded money from the victim. The victim refused and the suspect fled.

The suspect is a black male, 5’7″, 170 lbs., 35-40 years old, with a medium build and long braided hair. He was last seen wearing a white jacket with a red shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
