R.I.P. Morrie Yohai, Inventor of the Cheez Doodle

Morrie Yohai, the man responsible for the development of Cheez Doodles, died last week at his home in Kings Point, New York, at the age of 90. Per The New York Times, Yohai preferred to share the credit for inventing the bright orange snacks beloved not only by kids, pregnant women, and stoners everywhere, but also, allegedly, Julia Child. The nibbles are produced using a machine that processes cornmeal under high pressure into a long tube shape. The baked (not fried) snacks are then cut into three-inch-long tubes, and flavored with orange cheddar cheese and seasonings for your munching enjoyment.
