Brooklyn Bhangra band Red Baraat’s Sunday night show at Brooklyn Bowl (following a night at the Bowery) was a celebration of the Festival of Colors, or the Hindu festival of Holi (without the throwing of colors inside the Williamsburg bowling alley). Red Baraat wore the powder on their faces as they performed for a rapt audience. Openers Brooklyn Raga Massive and Rupa & The April Fishes helped them out for a couple of songs, but Red Baraat held the audience’s attention for almost two hours with their dhol ‘n’ brass celebration.
