Sam Wise Takes it to the Max

London rapper Sam Wise has a distinctive style. Indeed, many American hip-hop listeners are immediately turned off by a British accent in rap. But Wise deserves your attention. He’s just released the Freegame mixtape, and followed it up with the “To the Max” single and video.

The video is fairly self-explanatory; Wise is hanging out with his buddies. Girls dance, dudes lean on cars, and things get a little romantic for Wise and a lady on a balcony.

According to the press release, “The visual completes the series together with ‘First Little Rollie’ and ‘Cheque Came’ videos, seeing Sam celebrating life alongside a 90’s Mercedes E class with his day ones where it all began. With multiple nods to South, Sam continues to spread his energy and share his much-loved sound alongside humble images and give tribute where due.”
