‘Sama Presents Karl Geiger & Syed Raza’

Indiana’s Karl Geiger favors the hard Swedish techno sound popularized by Adam Beyer. He’s talented enough that he’s found a mentor in Beyer and a home on his Drumcode label (as well as on London’s equally heavy Perc Trax), and his skills are bringing new attention to a mesmerizing subgenre that hasn’t been getting its due in recent years. Syed Raza is one half of Toronto techno duo Subfractal. With Nunzi vs. Rohin (BEEF Records) and Matias Jofre (Rite of Wednesdays and Sinner Scene).
