The Grand Slam, the inaugural community event produced by the Grand Street Alliance will be a day filled with music performances by popular and emerging talent, a marketplace including visual artists, craft designers, local boutiques, artisanal foods, and the first BBQ Battle: Brooklyn featuring some of Brooklyn’s best Grill Masters!
The Grand Slam, slated for June 3rd, 2012 will mark the first of a series of neighborhood events planned by the GSA. The 2012 GSA calendar will also include Special FX Makeup Competition, a Food Truck Festival, a Hot Rod/Motorcycle Show, a Vegan Food Showdown, a Street Performance Festival and a ZombieFest in time for Halloween.
