The Public Opening of World Trade Center Observatory

While the media had been given a sneak peek of the observation deck in the new One World Trade Center, the general public didn’t get its first look until Friday, May 29, 2015. First there was singing, ribbon cutting and other ceremonial stuff to be done. Locals and tourists who had bought advance tickets stood in line. And finally, at 9:45 a.m., up they went.
